MANCHESTER UNITED ROCK THE CAPE

Cape Town, South Africa

A far cry from Juba and traipsing after the LRA in Congo, have come to South Africa to photograph Manchester United taking part in the Vodacom Challenge. Having never been to a football match before thought it would be interesting....
Although the article was taking a look at how Man U are trying to bail themselves out of debt by pulling in money by touring poor countries I was impressed by how hard these guys worked and how they interacted with their fans.

CAPTURED PROGRESS - EXHIBITION

After nearly a year, the Exhibition "Captured Progress", supported by the Joint Donor Office in Juba, and the Ministry of Culture of Southern Sudan, was opened by the Minister of Culture for Southern Sudan, Albino Akol Akol at the Nyakuron Cultural Centre in Juba.
The exhibition was a culmination of nearly a years work by six Southern Sudanese photographers who had participated in a series of workshops held by Steve Morrison, the EPA correspondent from Nairobi, and myself.
